Living On Ice Vocabulary

 Today for my reading I have had to do a vocabulary activity were I need to find the definition for a word then write it down.

1. Massive: Large and heavy solid
2. Isolation: The process or fact of isolating or being isolated
3. Nomadic: Living the life of a Nomad; Wandering
4. Myriad: A Countless or extremely great number of people or things
5. Volatile: (Of a substance) easily evaporated at normal temperatures
6. Solstice: The time or date (Twice a year) at which the sun reaches its maximum or minimum declination marked by the longest and shortest days (21 June and 22 December)
7. Crevasse: A deep open crack, especially one in a glacier
8. Ingenious: (of a person) clever, original, and inventive
9. Usability: The degree to which something is able or fit to be used 
10. Prosaic: Having or using the style or diction of prose as apposed to poetry; lacking amaginativeness or originality
