The Ghostly Shadow

 This morning during reading we have had to write a story starter refering to the story named ghostly shadow on Pobble 365. 

The Ghostly Shadow

One Minute you saw it next minute you didn’t the ghost like shadow had disappeared behind the dark, dense fog. His curiosity got the better of him, so he wanted to turn and chase 

The fog seemed to be following me, It danced amongst the trees: Slithered, Sneaked in and out of the branches. The trees lining the road, sentinels of the night, seemed to sway in the breeze, their branches reaching up like tentacles clawing for the sky, yearning to escape the cloying fog.

One second you saw it the next you didn’t. The ghostly shadow vanished once again. 

He had come to far to turn back now. Goosebumps shivered on his cold, clammy skin, and he was sure he could hear his heart pounding back and forth in his chest, like muhammed ali punching a boxing bag. Pulling his scarf tightly around himself, he stepped forward into the woods, towards the place the shadow had been...

My Weekend

 This weekend I have had my sisters birthday on Friday where we let of some fire works, I rode my bike and we had cake and that kind of stuff. On Saturday I rode my bike on my ramps and jumped over my family. At 5pm I went to Daniels birthday where I gave him $20 then we went outside jumped on the tramp, played rugby, Went to the skate park and just played outside. We stayed up all-night and jumped on the tramp at about 1am in the morning, We did some prank calls to Mcdonalds, BP and that kind of places. We went to sleep at around 3 then woke up super tired at 7am then watched our phones till about 8 had breakfast then went to the bike jumps at the Groynes where I did a drop and some jumps on Daniels bike. At 11 I got picked up then went home and slept from 11:30 to 5pm and woke up then ate Dinner, I went back to sleep at around 8pm Then woke up in the morning and had to go to school.

In todays lesson I have been combining my two favorite things Mountain Biking and drawing, where I drawed a very detailed mountain bike track.

Living On Ice Vocabulary

 Today for my reading I have had to do a vocabulary activity were I need to find the definition for a word then write it down.

7. Crevasse: A deep open crack, especially one in a glacier
8. Ingenious: (of a person) clever, original, and inventive
9. Usability: The degree to which something is able or fit to be used 
10. Prosaic: Having or using the style or diction of prose as apposed to poetry; lacking amaginativeness or originality
